Darlington – Where the Magazine Evolved

The Darlington edition marked a major step forward for Fight Night Magazine. While earlier editions focused on the action inside the ring, this was the first magazine to tell the stories behind the boxers as well as the boxing itself. It introduced training features, fighter interviews and a stronger editorial style, creating a publication that celebrated the entire Ultra White Collar Boxing journey, not just fight night.

Working alongside Sensei Gym, the magazine documented the eight-week transformation from complete beginners to confident fighters, capturing the commitment, resilience and friendships built during training. It also featured a collection of personal interviews, highlighting the motivations, charities and life experiences that inspired many of the participants to step through the ropes.

Fight night itself brought together sixteen bouts at The Dolphin Centre, with the event raising more than £7,500 for charity. The magazine combined dramatic ringside photography with the personal stories behind the gloves, creating a lasting record of an unforgettable evening for everyone involved.
